The Homelessness Prevention Program* provides interim housing relief to eligible adults who are current residents of Dane County, Wisconsin.  The goal of this Independent Living, Inc. service is to prevent homelessness by supporting older and disabled adults in their current housing-- while waiting for long-term rent subsidies to be approved through government programs such as Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 8 rent vouchers.
